Understand hardware status
Use device status as a quick guide, then confirm important hardware with a real test if something looks wrong.

Connected
The device has been detected and is available through the local TuiPOS hardware environment.

Ready
The device is configured for use and no immediate issue has been reported.

Offline
The hardware environment cannot currently confirm a usable connection to the device.

Disabled
The device exists in configuration but is deliberately disabled and should not receive jobs.

When status looks wrong
Refresh device state, check the physical connection and test the device. For printers, use a real test print.
